Thankful

Every thanksgiving I like thinking about what I’m thankful for. Before going to Africa I was always thankful for the same things family, friends, food and a house to live in. I never understood the extent of these things until I went to Africa. I also realized how much I was taking for granted in my everyday life.

I’m thankful that I have a bed, blanket, and a pillow to lay my head on at night

I’m thankful for the opportunity to go to Uganda and experience their culture. To meet these beautiful people who have nothing, but yet have everything.
